Drafting Scripts, Documents, Emails and Designs with Orsa AI
Ask Orsa AI in the main chat for a first draft of a video script, document, marketing email or design, preview it on a card, approve it to save it, and get revisions by giving feedback.
From the main Orsa AI chat you can get a first draft of:
- a video script, with scenes and filming directions,
- a document, like a brief, guide or one-pager,
- a marketing email, with a subject line and preview text,
- a design, like an Instagram carousel or a LinkedIn post.
Orsa AI hands the writing to a specialist, reads the result, and then shows you a card. Nothing is saved until you click Approve. If the draft isn’t right, you tell Orsa AI what to change and it makes a new one.
The main chat is on the Organize page. Click Ask Orsa AI at the bottom right. For Orsa AI basics, see Meet Orsa AI.
Quick start (5 minutes)
- Open the Organize page and click Ask Orsa AI.
- Type
@ideaand pick the idea you want a draft for. - Finish your message, like “Write a 30-second Instagram Reel script for this, friendly tone, end with ‘Book your first class’.”
- Press Enter. Orsa AI says it’s working on it. This can take a minute or two.
- A card appears that says Orsa AI wants to create a video script.
- Click View script to read every scene.
- Click Approve. The card turns green and shows Open video script.
- Click Open video script to keep working on it in the editor.
Start from a content idea
Orsa AI drafts from a content idea. The idea tells it the topic, the angle and the pillar the draft belongs to. When you approve the draft, it’s linked to that idea.
The easiest way is to tag the idea with @idea. See
Mentions and Files.
If you ask for a draft without an idea, Orsa AI may first look for a matching idea, or suggest a new one as a card that says Orsa AI wants to create new content idea. Approve the idea card and Orsa AI continues on its own, using the new idea. You can also send a message like “Great, now write the script.”
Example: a yoga studio types “Write a welcome email for new members.” Orsa AI proposes an idea called “Welcome to the studio”. The owner approves it and replies “Now draft the email for it.”
Draft a video script, document or email
- Ask for what you want, and say what matters: the platform, the length, the audience and the call to action.
- Orsa AI hands the job to a writing specialist and tells you it will report back. You can keep chatting meanwhile.
- When the specialist is done, Orsa AI reads the draft and fixes small things itself. Then it shows a card.
| You asked for | The card says | Preview button |
|---|---|---|
| A video script | Orsa AI wants to create a video script | View script (shows the number of scenes) |
| A document | Orsa AI wants to create a document | View document (shows the number of sections) |
| A marketing email | Orsa AI wants to create a marketing email | View email |
The card also has a one-line summary, like New 4-scene script “Desk stretches” linked to idea “Desk stretches”.
What each preview shows
- View script: every scene’s title, its words, and its filming directions.
- View document: every section’s heading and text.
- View email: the subject line, the preview text and the email’s words. The layout and images aren’t shown on the card. Open the email after you approve it to see the design.
Good to know
- A script can have up to 30 scenes, and a document up to 40 sections.
- Orsa AI can’t draft blog posts from the chat. Use AI blog writing instead.
Draft a design
Orsa AI can have a design made for you, with up to 6 slides.
- Ask for a design, like “Make a 3-slide Instagram carousel for @idea Spring menu launch.”
- If something is missing, like how many slides or which format, Orsa AI shows a design brief form. Fill it in and submit it. See Answering Orsa AI’s Questions.
- A specialist makes the slides. This is slower than a written draft.
- Orsa AI shows a card that says Orsa AI wants to create a design from generated slides. It shows how many slides there are and a short description.
- Use the arrows or the dots under the preview to look at each slide.
- Click Approve. You see “Design created”, and the card shows Open design.
To use your own photos, upload them to your Library first and tag them with
@file in your request. See
Sharing files with Orsa AI.
A design only exists once you approve it. Until then, the slides are just a preview. When you approve, Orsa creates a new design called Untitled Design, with the status Draft, on the Designs tab of the Create page. Rename it in the editor.
The slides Orsa AI makes are also kept as a request on the AI Design tab. See AI Design Requests.
Approve, then finish it yourself
When you click Approve:
- Scripts, documents and emails are saved as drafts with the status Draft. If Orsa AI wrote them for an idea, they’re linked to that idea. The card shows Open video script, Open document or Open email.
- Designs are saved as a new Untitled Design. They aren’t linked to the idea. Open the idea and add the design yourself. See Working on an Idea.
After you approve or cancel a script, document or email card, Orsa AI picks up on its own and tells you what’s next. After a design card, send your next message to carry on. See What happens after you decide.
To change the words of a saved draft, open it and use Orsa AI inside the editor. The main chat can only change details like the title and status. See Orsa AI in the Editors.
Revise a draft with feedback
You can’t edit the text on a card. To get a better version:
- Click Cancel on the card.
- Tell Orsa AI what to change, as clearly as you can. For example, “Make the hook shorter and drop the price.”
- Orsa AI has a new draft made and shows a new card.
For designs, you can also give feedback without cancelling first, like “Make slide 2 less busy and use our green.” Orsa AI asks the specialist for a revised version and shows a new card. Each new version is a fresh round of AI work, so it uses more AI credits. See Credits and Limits.
Example: a café gets a 3-slide carousel. The owner types “Slide 1 is great. On slide 3, say ‘Open daily 7 to 3’ instead of the address.” Orsa AI shows a new card with the revised slides. The owner clicks Cancel on the old card and Approve on the new one.
Ideas for drafting with Orsa AI
A script from your best idea.
“Write a 45-second TikTok script for @idea 3 mistakes new runners make. Fast hook, one tip per scene.”
A client brief.
“Draft a one-page brief for @idea Summer menu shoot: goal, audience, shot list and deadline of June 10.”
A promotion email.
“Write a marketing email for @product Deep Tissue Massage: 20% off in March, one button to book online.”
A carousel from your own photos.
“Make a 4-slide Instagram post about our new patio using @file patio-evening.jpg and @file patio-lunch.jpg.”
Tips for the best results
- Tag the idea. A tagged idea gives Orsa AI the topic, angle and pillar, and the approved draft is linked to it.
- Say the platform and length. “30-second Reel” or “3 slides for LinkedIn” gets a better first draft than “a video” or “a post”.
- Read the preview before you approve. Use View script, View document or View email, or step through every slide.
- Give one clear piece of feedback at a time. “Shorter hook” works better than “make it better”.
- Approve the version you want, cancel the rest. If you asked for a revision, cancel the old card so you don’t approve the wrong one later.
- Fill in your brand first. Orsa AI’s drafts follow your Playbook, pillars and audiences.
Common questions
Orsa AI said it’s working on it, but no card has appeared. Drafts are written in the background and can take a minute or two. Designs take longer. Orsa AI shows the card when the specialist is done. You can check progress in the plan and specialist list. See Specialists and Task Plans.
I approved a design but can’t find it. Look on the Designs tab of the Create page for a new Untitled Design, or click Open design on the card.
My new design isn’t on the idea. Designs made from the chat aren’t linked to the idea. Open the idea and add the design. See Working on an Idea.
I see “These slides have too much text to open in the editor”. The slides can’t be turned into an editable design. Ask Orsa AI for a version with less text per slide.
I see “The generated slides are no longer available”. The slides behind the card can’t be found anymore. Ask Orsa AI to make the design again.
I clicked Approve and saw “Failed to update message”. The most common cause is that your brand is out of AI credits. See Credits and Limits.
